Cayman Brac's white sand beaches and warm, blue waters make the island an excellent location for all types of water sports.  Diving and snorkeling are quite popular, as is para-sailing, surfing, boating, sport fishing and beach sports such as volley ball.  Most hotels and resorts offer diving and snorkeling excursions for their guests, as do several private companies on the island.  Most of these trips include equipment rental, boat transportation to the site, a guide and sometimes some brief instruction.  Note that some diving trips may require guests to have a certain level of experience, however, so make sure to find out a trip's requirements before you sign up for it.

Most hotels and resorts provide equipment to their guests for water sports such as para-sailing and surfing.  Equipment is also available at several locations for rent by the day.  Serious divers may also want to bring their own equipment.
