The best two methods of getting around Portofino are by walking and by driving.  Travelers should make the most of their own two feet and get out and walk around the area as much as possible.  The only time when this is not recommended is during the hottest times of day in the summer months, when the combination of heat and humidity can make walking uncomfortable for the average person.  For the most part, the weather and design of the area are conducive to walking throughout the major areas one might wish to visit.
