Normally in Italy you see the word "gelateria" as the signpost for a place where one gets a cone. But RR only has the word "Gelato". One is further intrigued once inside because it has none of the flowery and frilly designs of the usual "gelaterie" nor does one see the gelato on display. The interior design is simple, linear and very streamlined-chic.
The menu has unusual names for flavours: Alice, Leonardo, San. Luca, etc. It takes the knowledge of Italian to decipher what these names mean. Take a free sample, and prepare for some of the best gelato- the taste and mouth-feel of their gelato is luscious and sensual, to say the least. "Alice" is a most amazing blend of mascarpone with gianduja(a concoction of chocolate and hazelnut cream sauce). San Luca is mouthwatering with white chocolate and rice crispies, original!
The flavours have all the qualities that natural ingredients impart, in other words, RR use real ingredients, nothing fake.
