The Museum of Jewish Culture is a state-managed institution, a branch of the Slovak National Museum and its main exhibition is located in the only surviving house of the former Bratislava Jewish neighborhood, the Zsigray Mansion. The museum exhibition consists of several rooms and covers major historical events of the Slovak Jews, presents objects related to life-cycle and year-cycle Jewish rituals. There is an interesting model of the synagogue interior and the Holocaust memorial room here. The visitors should not miss two precious Chevra kadisha [burial brotherhood]  jugs from the 18th century that are unique Judaica objects of international importance.
