Winter Texans

This is a phrase that is used to classify a group of people who come to south Texas every winter for the warm weather and the great life that can be had in the Rio Grande Valley of TX. Most of them are retired or full-time RVers that come for the good weather in the winter. There are lots of RV Parks that cater to all of these visitors to south Texas. McAllen, Mission. Pharr, Alamo, Donna and Welsco are some of the towns that welcome all winter Texans. There are airports in McAllen, Harlingen and Brownsville. Just down the road is the city of Port Isabel and South Padre Island. Lots of sea food and sandy beaches.
