Touring Bangkok in a push wheelchair: Tour guides are 100% patient and caring, willing to slow the pace for the disabled participants. However, a lot of the tour companies have not made the necessary adjustments. e.g. the large buses have high steps, and it is necessary to request some kind of "booster" such as an inverted milk box. Some of the vans have handles near the doors to help pull yourself up, some require pushing and pulling to enter. One requires crawling in and out on hands and knees at each stop, then raising the body to the seat. (Very humiliating.)
