Columbus in Herzliya Pituach

If you're going out to eat with kids of any age, check out Columbus. OK, so it's not authentic Israeli cuisine, but it's pretty good value and very kid-friendly. The staff are friendly, are great with the kids, have high-chairs available, and don't mind the kids running around the place too much. They also have balloons to give away to anyone who wants them. If you're there for a birthday, they'll make sure the whole restaurant knows it! The menu, and indeed the whole interior of the restaurant, is very like "TGI Fridays" - a great range of starters (onion loaf, loaded potato skins, zucchini, buffalo wings are all great), a huge range of main courses (meat, fish, mexican, salads, sandwiches, etc.) and side dishes, and some delicious desserts (check out the chocolate volcano with ice cream).

Columbus is on Galim Boulevard in Herzliya Pituach. The restaurant is definitely not kosher, and serves shellfish, pork ribs, and cheeseburgers!

Other options for families include Dixie and Moses, both in the Center City.
