The culture in Saudi Arabia is of very strict Islamic teachings. Don't go for shopping during prayertime as all premises are closed. Don't approach women even if it to ask for directions at any time. If you are single, some malls are not open for singles on weekends (Thursdays and Fridays). Do not wear anything that symbolises any other religion like crucifixes, etc. Dress modestly and be sure not to take pictures without permission. Photography is banned in most places in Saudi Arabia.
