If you're a man in Riyadh, you'll find several opportunities to view and take part in sports events in the city. There are a number of athletic clubs  located in the city. Sports at the clubs include football (soccer), squash, golf, and tennis. These facilities, for the most part, are solely for the use of men. In recent times, some clamor has been made in order to get similar facilities for women, but not much headway has been made in this area.

The Riyadh football club plays at the King Fahd II Stadium. This huge venues seats 70,000, though you will not find any women among the patrons, as they are barred from attendance.
