The main square in Brasov has two exchange offices, both of which list 3 rates: the first is the normal rate, the second is the selling rate, and a third rate which is about 10% lower than the first. Be sure of the exchange rate you are getting before they take your money - if you're not exchanging 10000 Euros more, your money will be exchanged at the lowest of the three rates.

You may find a better deal at one of the outlets further down the pedestrian street.
