International travelers arrive in KAIA International Airport. Located 10 miles North of Jiddah downtown, the airport includes 5 terminals each offering a distinctive service.The South Terminal receives all national and international flights. International flights also arrive in the North Terminal; in the times of Hajj and Omrah, this terminal receives the international flights bringing worshippers. Hajj pilgrims have a terminal of their own, though: Hajj terminal which includes prayer and rest areas, markets, places where pilgrims can cook, a clinic and bank, post office, dining and information services. There is a Mosque in the South Terminal for Juma's and other prayers.

The General Aviation Terminal receives private planes and Saudi's special Flight services group. The Terminal includes a passenger area, aircraft parking, car parking for travelers and aircraft services facilities. The Royal Terminal is used by the Royal Family, their guests and the heads of government.

The airport is serviced by major European air companies such as Air France, Alitalia, Swissair, Lufthansa, KLM, British Airways and Austrian Airways; Asian air carriers such as Japan Airlines, Korean Airlines, Garuda Indonesia, Cina Aitlines and Air India; and Arabian carriers such as Egypt Air, Emirates Airlines, Royal Jordanian, Kuwait Airlines and, of course, Saudi Airlines.

From the airport, you can access Jiddah downtown by two highways: Medina Road and Makkah Expressway.
