Langkawi may not be known for its extravagant nightlife, but there are many opportunities to burn the midnight oil if one knows where to look.

            Much of the available nightlife on the island is centered around hotels and restaurant.  Restaurants will many times offer live entertainment.  Traditional dancing performances and great music are tourist favorites.  These types of shows are not available at all hotels and restaurants, nor are they offered every night of the week, so make sure to ask the hotel front desk attendant for detailed information. 

            There are numerous bars & Night club around the island, which can be quite enjoyable. Sunbar at pantai tengah (retro bar), Enigma night club at Aseania hotel in Pantai Cenang, Chimes night club at Sheraton Langkawi Resort.  They know a wide range of songs and are very entertaining.
