Great Gyro's and Gourmet Artisan Sandwiches

Dimitri's Artisan Sandwiches offers an array of selections on the menu. Very tasty gourmet sandwiches that include a side item (cup of soup, Greek potato salad or Fries). The Greek potato salad is made with olive oil, oregano, onion and feta cheese and is a unique option to fries.  The soups are all homemade including the daily house soup, Auvguelemno (a Greek soup frothed with egg whites, chicken stock, rice and a tinge of lemon).   The fries are lightly seasoned and delish! 

WHAT ABOUT GYRO'S??? This place is  becoming known for its lamb and beef Gyros served on pita with homemade Tzaziki sauce (made with yogurt and cucumber).  Dimitri also offers a chicken Gyro and a Veggie Gyro with Portebello Mushrooms, homemade Hummus, and other goodies.  The Gourmet sandwiches are all very huge and packed with flavor!  Made to order on a large Ciabatta roll, the sandwiches are  grilled.  Some of the best sellers are the Chicken Basil Pesto, Italian Combo, Reuben, Teriyaki Sesame Chicken, South of the Border and Chicken Feta.  The turkey, corned beef and beef are all roasted on site.   The salad menu is limited (Greek, Caesar and Asian)  but are made fresh and delicious and tossed with Dimitri's amazing signature Greek dressing and served with warmed pita. The dressing is out of this world and Dimitri's golden secret!!  The Hummus is served with warm, spongy pita is a personal favorite. 

Daily specials include homemade Spinach pie with 1/2 Greek Salad for $6.95.   Dimitri  makes daily specials that do not appear in the menu.  It is recommended to try whatever is on the specials board as it is typically a whimsical, tasty creation that came to Dimitri's culinary mind that morning and is prepared fresh and is usually worth ordering, past experiences have included Lamb Shanks that fall off the bone served with Greek rice, Greek Chicken with baked potato, Veggie Pies, Souvlaki, Grilled Fish, Cheese-steak Sandwiches and so much more!

ON A BUDGET??  The prices typically ranges from $7.50 to just over $10.00 for one order including beverage. The sandwiches are very large and for about 8 bucks you can split a sandwich in half and have plenty of food for two and spend just over 5 bucks a person for two (including beverages).  Another daily special includes either a 1/2 Ham Cheddar Swiss Melt with cup of Soup or a 1/2 of Turkey Swiss Melt with cup of Soup for $4.95 plus tax. A childs menu is also avaiable.
