Travel Advisory: Devastation in wake of Cyclone Nargis

The official death toll in Myanmar stands at 78,000, with 56,000 listed as missing. More than 2.4 million people in the Irrawaddy Delta struggle without food, water, electricity and transportation.

Myanmar's military government has finally agreed to allow foreign aid workers into the hardest hit areas in the Irrawaddy Delta. Relief agencies had been stymied in their efforts to reach beyond the capital of Yangon (Rangoon).
